2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus limited, privacy-respecting analytics.

• Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company/brand name, website, the services you're interested in, project type, indicative budget, timeline, and the message you send.
• Direct email: anything you include when you email us.
• Analytics: aggregate, cookieless usage data via Cloudflare Web Analytics (e.g. pages viewed, approximate country, referrer, device type). This does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not identify you personally.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
• To provide, and where agreed, deliver our services to you.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with (Operators)

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("Operators" under POPIA) who process data on our behalf under contract:

• Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Cloudflare — hosting/delivery, the form-handling service, and cookieless web analytics.

These providers may process information on servers outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate, comparable level of protection, as required by section 72 of POPIA.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to you, to provide services, and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Aggregate analytics data contains no personal identifiers.

7. How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), spam and abuse controls on our form, and limited access to submissions — to protect your information against loss, unauthorised access, or misuse.

8. Your rights under POPIA

Subject to the Act, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it.
• Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date, or no longer needed.
• Object to our processing on reasonable grounds.
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing already carried out).
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
